- "We know that on Wednesday the fans will turn out in large numbers at Maracanã. We are counting on their presence, because our team grows a lot with the support of the red-black fans."

One of the most experienced players in the squad, the defender declared that the defeat to Botafogo is already in the past, and that the team is focused on the Libertadores match.
