One of Flamengo's squad leaders, captain Fábio Luciano, praised Caio Júnior's appointment as the new manager. The coach was welcomed by the squad at the presentation this afternoon.

- "It was a smooth presentation. We are very happy with the choice of Caio Júnior. He is a very competent coach. He came to help us, and he arrived thinking big, talking about winning the Libertadores and Brazilian Championship titles."

With an eye on the red-black team's next match, tomorrow, against América-MEX, at Maracanã, Fábio Luciano said he believes the Mexican team will go on the attack early, having already lost 4-2 in the first match.

- "We know they'll try to score from the start of the match. We have to be careful and exploit the counterattack, which is a great weapon for us. The most important thing is for the team to run and help each other on the field. The team knows what to do to get a great result."
