Defender Fábio Luciano is aware of the difficulties Flamengo will face in Saturday's game (13/10). In addition to the pressure from the opposing fans and the uncomfortable situation in which Paraná finds itself, striker Josiel, the Championship's top scorer, is a concern for the red-black defense.
"He's a player who deserves a lot of attention. We won't be man-marking him, but we have to be very vigilant. Josiel is a very fast player and a great finisher."
The sheriff of the red-black defense believes in victory, and does not want to remember Flamengo's negative results playing away from home.
"We have to think ahead. We don't dwell on the past. We know it will be a tough game, given the motivation of the new coach and Paraná's position in the standings. We have to be fully dedicated to the game to win."
Fábio Luciano arrived at Flamengo recently, but in this short space of time, he has already felt the strength of the red-black nation, and once again praised the fans' attitude.
"I'm living in a different situation. The Flamengo fans are amazing. I've played for Corinthians, which is a great team, but I've never seen the celebration the Flamengo fans are throwing, even with our position in the table. It's definitely an extra motivation for all of us players."
