Fábio Luciano and Airton train among the starters
After serving a suspension, players are confirmed for tomorrow's match against Duque de Caxias, in Volta Redonda.
By Flamengo Archive - inFlamengo's squad returned to training this Tuesday morning in Gávea. In a training session that lasted about 20 minutes, coach Cuca finalized the team's details for tomorrow's match against Duque de Caxias in Volta Redonda.
Fábio Luciano and Aírton, who were suspended in the previous match, regained their places in the starting lineup. Coach Cuca named his first team: Bruno; Everton Silva, Fábio Luciano, Welinton, and Juan; Airton, Willians, Ibson, and Léo Moura; Zé Roberto and Josiel.
During training, Cuca paid close attention to set pieces. The coach stopped the training session several times to retake corners and free kicks near the box. After the training session, the players participated in a recreational activity.
Fábio Luciano and Airton will be tried this Wednesday for their red cards in the Guanabara Cup semifinal match against Resende. Even if they are suspended, their sentences will only be served starting Saturday's match against Tigres. The defender will be charged under Article 251 (complaining or disrespecting the referee), with a one- to four-game suspension, and the midfielder under Article 250 (committing an unfair act), with a one- to three-game suspension.
