Fábio Luciano's participation in the training session held this Saturday, in Gávea, increased the chances of the defender playing this Sunday, against Vasco, in Maracanã, in the 26th round of the Brazilian Championship.

The player left the field 14 minutes into the second half of the 3-1 victory over Cruzeiro on Wednesday, feeling muscle pain in his left thigh.

"I'll wait until tomorrow to decide. Fábio is an experienced player and will know whether he's fit to play. The important thing is that with or without him, we'll be well served in this sector," said coach Joel Santana, who, if he's unable to count on the player, will choose between Thiago Salles and Rodrigo Arroz.
