Fabrício pays attention to Universidad's aerial ball

Defender guarantees that the red-black defense will pay close attention to the big Oliveira

Maldonado had already asked for attention, Ronaldo Angelim too, and if it's up to Fabrício, the towering Oliveira won't have a chance to shine at Maracanã this Thursday. The Flamengo defender is keeping an eye on the Universidad de Chile striker's runs and promises to be very dedicated in marking the 1,91m tall center forward.

Fabrício, who will be playing his 20th game as a professional for Flamengo, stated that the defense already knows it will have difficulties playing against the striker, but emphasizes that the team is ready for this mission.

"Of course it's worrying. He's a dangerous player, who heads the ball very well and who also knows how to leave the box. But the defense is ready to mark him and try to neutralize this play, which is their strength," he said.

The postponement of the match, according to the defender, will have no impact on the Flamengo's performance. He believes that regardless of the date the match is played, Flamengo would have to enter with the same mindset: to win.

"It doesn't change much. Of course, we lost one day, but we maintain our focus on winning. That's what matters. Regardless of the day of the game, we'll try to beat both the Chilean team and Vasco," he added.
