Flamengo's medical department shouldn't have any issues for Wednesday's match against Universidad de Chile at Maracanã. Álvaro and Fernando are expected to be cleared, and despite causing scares in recent days, Fabrício and Adriano are practically confirmed for the match.

The defender felt pain in his thigh last Friday, but will be re-evaluated on Monday. The Emperor complained of a back problem this Saturday, but is also expected to remain in the squad.

"He felt pain in his lower back when turning, but he was given medication and is not a concern for Wednesday's game," explained doctor Marcelo Soares.

On Friday, coach Andrade said he would count on Ronaldo Angelim for the match against "La U", but Fabrício's condition has improved and he has a chance of starting.

"Fabricio's condition has improved a lot and his chances of playing are very high. He will work with the group on Monday and if nothing changes, he will be cleared to play," Soares concluded.
