It took five matches at Maracanã until the first goal on sacred ground. For Felipe Vizeu, the thirteenth time he scored with the Manto was in front of a Nation that yearned for hope. The Boy from the Nest renewed the chances of qualification and rekindled the flame that stubbornly tried to die out. This Wednesday (1), Flamengo drew with Fluminense 3-3 and secured a place in the semifinals of the Conmebol South American.

"For me, every goal for Flamengo is incredibly important. The next one will always be even more so. For a center forward, the more goals he scores and the more he helps the team, the better. This is undoubtedly very important for my career and for the group. I was very happy and emotional. The most important thing is to have qualified. We're fighting and working hard to excel on the field," celebrated Vizeu. "Paolo (Guerrero) tried his best to be here, but he didn't make it. We know he's supporting us and the unity of this group. I'm very happy," the striker added.

Felipe Vizeu took the opportunity to praise the support of the Red-Black Nation, who sang throughout the 90 minutes and made the difference in Flamengo's great qualification at Maracanã.

"When it was 3-1, our nation made the difference and kept singing, supporting. With humility, when the goal came, I knew it wouldn't be any different. I asked them to keep singing loudly, because it does make a difference. What they pass on to us is very important. Today was the same. With a lot of drive, dedication and the fans, we managed to qualify," he declared.

Flamengo's next challenge will be on Sunday (5), when Mais Querido faces Grêmio, at 17 pm, in Porto Alegre.
