"Emperor Adriano" is out of the derby, as are Leonardo Moura, Willians, Maldonado, and Vagner Love, who were rested from Friday's training session and are being retained to face Universidad de Chile on Wednesday in the Copa Libertadores quarterfinals.

Regarding the team that took the field for Friday's practice, there were two changes. Fierro replaced Fernando, and Dênis Marques replaced Adriano, who asked coach Rogério Lourenço to sit out Sunday's game after speaking with him. Since he trained the entire time on Friday, he was released from Sunday's practice in Gávea.

Flamengo will therefore go into the game with Bruno, Everton Silva, David, Ronaldo Angelim, and Juan; Rômulo, Toró, Fernando, Kleberson, and Petkovic; and Dênis Marques.
