Flamengo's first tactical training session with the starting players for next Sunday's match (08.08) against Corinthians at Pacaembu confirmed the trend seen in the match against Vasco. Coach Rogério Lourenço fielded Fernando in place of Correa, who is suspended for receiving three yellow cards and will not be able to play against the São Paulo team.

This was the only change the coach made to the team that began playing against their rival Cruzmaltino last weekend. The attacking duo of Val Baiano and Cristian Borja was retained. Thus, the team was lined up with Marcelo Lomba, Leonardo Moura, Jean, Ronaldo Angelim, and Juan; Fernando, Willians, Kleberson, and Petkovic; Val Baiano and Cristian Borja.

Among the reserves, the big news was Leandro Amaral in attack. The team was lined up with Paulo Victor, Everton Silva, Fabrício, Welinton, and Rodrigo Alvim; Antônio, Maldonado, Vinícius Pacheco, and Michael; Leandro Amaral and Diego Maurício. David, Thiago Sales, Saba, Camacho, Rômulo, Toró, Marquinhos, and Galhardo made separate changes.
