The big star of the afternoon will have a reception worthy of his importance. Friends of the star and declared red-and-black fans, samba artists Diogo Nogueira, Dudu Nobre and the Grupo Revelação will go to Gávea to welcome Ronaldinho Gaúcho, this Thursday (12.01), starting at 16 pm. There will be no show nor much samba, but rather a meeting of friends and fans with the star on this very special date.

Xande de Pilares, lead singer of Revelação, spoke with the Official Site team on Wednesday night (11.01) and did not hide his excitement over the signing of R10. He, who considers that samba and football have everything to do with each other, has the same opinion about the marriage between Ronaldinho and Flamengo,

"I'm very happy. Not only because he's a great friend, but also because he's a great player who's joining my favorite team. He's the face of Flamengo. He's an irreverent player who has everything to do with Rio de Janeiro football. I'm sure he'll do well. He's a guy who improvises, who puts on a show, just like the Flamengo fans. He really wants to play, win titles, and return to the national team. So he has everything he needs to shine," said Xande, remembering the greatness of the Flamengo fans.

"Flamengo is a huge club, with a worldwide tradition. I travel all over the world and there's nowhere I go that doesn't have a Flamengo shirt. I've seen it in Japan, Italy, France... There's always a red-and-black fan," he commented.

In Revelação, most of the musicians are Flamengo fans. Mauro Júnior, the banjo player, however, is a Vasco fan. At their Rio shows, he and Xande even joke about the rivalry between the clubs. A bet was even made on Ronaldinho's signing, which Mauro will have to pay off.

"I bet and he's going to have to pay. It was a dangerous bet, but I was sure I would win. I said that if Ronaldinho didn't come, I would wear Vasco's shirt, but if he did, he would wear Flamengo's. Now he's going to have to wear it," joked the samba singer, remembering that he is composing a song in honor of the agreement.

"I'm composing a song to pay tribute to Flamengo, the fans and, of course, Ronaldo. I still don't think it will be possible to release it tomorrow, because we have to memorize everything perfectly, but it will definitely come out," he added.

After signing a contract with Flamengo, Ronaldinho Gaúcho will finally be able to wear the sacred jersey this Wednesday (12.01). The event will be held in front of the fans, the club's greatest asset, in Gávea. All fans will be able to see the star up close, as non-members will be allowed to enter through the gate on Rua Mário Ribeiro. Club members will enter as normal, just like any other day. All will be properly dressed.
