Left-back Filipe Luís was the talk of the town at the press conference before training this Friday afternoon (27), at Ninho do Urubu. In conversation with journalists, the athlete spoke about his style of play and about working with coach Jorge Jesus in these first months at Flamengo. 

"I always said in Europe that in Brazil I was considered a defensive full-back, and there they considered me offensive. It depended on what Simeone asked of me. Maybe I'm not as offensive as other Brazilian full-backs, who get deep eight times a game, but I'm more dynamic, getting in behind. It all depends on the game and the situation. When I have space, I go deep. That's what my coach (Jorge Jesus) has told me today. He wants me to attack," he says. 

Filipe Luís praised the team's unity and said the good form is the result of the team's trust and work with the coaching staff. 

"The group has a lot of quality, they want to work and learn. There are players who sacrifice themselves for the team; everyone runs. When one stops, the team will feel it. If the team loses humility and focus, we will feel it," he emphasizes.

The red-black squad finalizes preparations for the game against São Paulo this Friday. The teams will face each other this Saturday (28), at 19 pm, at Maracanã, for the Brazilian Championship.
