Fla-Anjo once again broke its national fundraising record for fundraising projects. On the initiative's 10th anniversary, R$9.6 million was raised from individuals and legal entities, representing a 42% increase over the previous year's total.

In 2023, Fla-Anjo engaged 1.281 unique individual donors—a 13% increase over the previous year—who collectively donated over R$6.7 million to projects approved for this year's campaign. Donations came from 25 Brazilian states, in addition to the Federal District, demonstrating the project's nationwide reach. Furthermore, in its second year of fundraising through legal entities, the Program saw a 69% increase in this fundraising line through partner companies. In total, over R$2.9 million was raised through legal entities, further contributing to the Program's year-over-year growth.

Donations made in 2023 will be allocated directly to the Club's sports projects, approved under the Sports Incentive Law, a federal government funding instrument. These projects encompass collective, individual, and water sports in Olympic sports, women's soccer, and Flamengo's youth men's soccer, as well as social and sports initiatives run by the Social Responsibility department. This means that over a thousand talented young players from Flamengo's youth teams benefit and can achieve significant results in high-performance and later life. Furthermore, among the various investments in sports, the funds raised also go toward scholarships, equipment, maintenance of sports facilities, and the Unified Center for Identification and Development of Performance Athletes (CUIDAR).

The new features of this year's Fla-Anjo tournament included an increase in tax benefits, allowing donors to donate up to 7% of their income tax to Flamengo, and the addition of the Men's Youth Football project. By participating, in addition to supporting all the initiatives described above, contributors also receive various rewards, depending on their donation level. Since last year, for example, donors have been able to enter a drawing in which the winner will have their name printed on the jersey of a professional football player from the club during a match during the season.

"The consecutive records set by Fla-Anjo in recent years confirm the program's success with our fans and strategic partners. With the participation of the Nação Rubro-Negra, Fla-Anjo has contributed to strengthening our Olympic Sports and Flamengo's Women's Soccer. Starting this year, in addition to these sports, donations can also be invested in Men's Youth Soccer, enabling the further development of future Flamengo stars," commented Gustavo Oliveira, Flamengo's Vice President of Communications and Marketing.
