Flamengo fans who intend to cheer on their team in the match against Atlético Mineiro, next Saturday (November 13.11th), at 19:30 pm, at Arena do Jacaré, in Sete Lagoas (MG), can rest assured. The Flamengo board received decisive support from CBF technical director Virgilio Elisio, who enforced the Brasileirão regulations and secured the release of 1.500 tickets for the game. The price of these tickets will be R$ 5 (five reais). Information about points of sale will be released this Thursday (November 11.11th).
Since last Monday, the Flamengo board has been working to avoid any problems for Flamengo fans at the game. All regulatory initiatives have been taken and all requests have been made, directly to Atlético-MG and also through the Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais Federations, as well as the CBF itself.
Initially, 1.800 tickets were to be made available, since the total capacity is close to 18, but the Military Police of Minas Gerais informed that it would not be possible to safely divide the stadium for that capacity. Therefore, the agreed number was set at 1.500.
"We are focused on taking all necessary measures to ensure the game goes as smoothly as possible. Our head of security is already in Minas Gerais to finalize the security plan for Flamengo fans at the Arena do Jacaré. He is already in contact with the Military Police to resolve this in the best way possible," informed the football director, Luis Augusto Veloso.
Avoiding problems from the past
The concern of the Flamengo board was based on the events of the match between Atlético Mineiro and Corinthians, held in early October, where many fans of the São Paulo club were unable to enter the stadium due to a lack of tickets for visiting supporters. On that occasion, just over 150 tickets were made available for Corinthians fans, who had traveled in 20 buses.
