Needing to win in normal time to take the match to extra time, where they also had to win to be crowned champions, the CRFlamengo under-20 futsal team ended their participation in the State Championship in second place.

In a match played this Thursday (11/12), at the Vila Olímpica de Caxias, the red-black team tried to overcome Iguaçu, but ended up only getting a 2-2 draw. Goals from Vitor Rangel and Lucas Poli.

In the first game of the final, held on the 4th, Iguaçu came out on top by defeating Flamengo by a score of 2 to 1.

But the hopes for more titles don't stop there. This weekend, the U-09, U-11, U-13, and U-17 teams will compete in matches for a spot in the finals.

The under-09 category faces Fluminense, on Saturday (13/12), at 10 am, in Gávea. The under-11 and under-13 teams also face the tricolor, starting at 10 am, in Olaria.

The under-17 team hosts Canto do Rio on Saturday at 15 pm.
