Following the example of the last two Tuesdays, Flamengo will play a training match this afternoon in Gávea, against Bangu, with a team made up of reserves and players who did not play against Corinthians, on Sunday (08.08), at Pacaembu. Among them, Renato Abreu, who is looking forward to making his debut with the red-and-black shirt on Saturday (14.08), against Ceará, at Maracanã. Leandro Amaral, with lower back pain, did not play, but should not be a problem for the match.

Rogério Lourenço fielded Vinícius, Rafael Galhardo, Welinton, David, and Rodrigo Alvim; Toró, Fernando, Renato Abreu, and Michael; Vinícius Pacheco and Val Baiano. Bangu's standouts include experienced defensive midfielder Marcão and midfielder Tiano, who has enjoyed success with teams like CFZ and Bangu itself in recent seasons.

In the second half, the team played with Paulo Victor, Everton Silva, Welinton (David), Thiago Sales, and Léo Medeiros; Maldonado, Lenon, Renato, and Camacho; Marquinhos and Diego Maurício. The match ended with a 2-1 victory for Flamengo, with goals from Val Baiano and Marquinhos.

The starting players from the match against Corinthians (Borja, Antônio, Petkovic, Willians, Angelim, Leo Moura, and Jean), as well as Correa, who served a suspension on Sunday and will be available for Rogério Lourenço on Saturday, worked with trainer Toninho Oliveira. They did recovery work in the gym and ran laps around the field.
