In a thrilling match, Flamengo came from behind to beat Botafogo 2-1 this Sunday at the Maracanã, winning their second consecutive Taça Guanabara title. Ibson and Diego Tardelli scored the goals that secured the victory for Flamengo. With this win, Flamengo guaranteed a place in the final of the Campeonato Carioca.

With the majority in the stands, Flamengo immediately started pressing. At 24 seconds, Léo Moura crossed to Souza, but the striker couldn't reach the ball. Shortly after, Adriano Felício headed dangerously in the penalty area.

The game was quite lively, and Marcinho almost opened the scoring with a shot from outside the area. In the 13th minute, Jailton missed another good opportunity after a beautiful one-two between Fábio Luciano and Souza.

In the 27th minute, Wellington Paulista made a beautiful play in the penalty area and shot across goal to make it 1-0 for Botafogo. After the goal, the game remained balanced, and the first half ended without many chances for either team.

In the 46th minute, Diego Tardelli received a pass from Léo Moura and fired a low shot across goal to score the winning goal for Flamengo. Four minutes later, Edson missed Botafogo's last chance, but Flamengo's victory celebration was already secured.
