Just like what happened last Sunday (04.07), against Desportivo Brasil, Flamengo drew in a training match against Ituano, played this Wednesday (07.07), at the Spa Sports Resort, in Itu. Diego Mauricio and Ronaldo Angelim scored the team's goals in the match, which ended with a score of 2 to 2. This was the last training session for the Gávea team in the city in the interior of São Paulo.

The red-black team entered the field with Marcelo Lomba, Leo Moura, David, Ronaldo Angelim and Juan; Antonio, Correa, Camacho and Petkovic; Vinicius Pacheco and Diego Mauricio, who was given the opportunity to be tested in place of Paulo Sergio, who started against Desportivo Brasil.

In the first half, the striker proved his worth and opened the scoring for Flamengo. But not everything was positive for Flamengo in the first 45 minutes of the training match. While Maldonado, Willians, and Michael were sidelined before the ball even kicked off, Antonio had to leave the game due to thigh pain and was eventually replaced by Romulo.

But Flamengo conceded an equalizer before the end. Therefore, for the second half, coach Rogerio Lourenco decided to make changes to his lineup: he took off Correa and Vinicius Pacheco and brought on Jean and Paulo Sergio. Rômulo also replaced Lenon, and Flamengo scored another goal, with Ronaldo Angelim. However, Ituano also scored the second, and the score remained tied until the final whistle.

The red-and-black squad returns to Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday afternoon. The return match is scheduled for Thursday afternoon in Gávea, with Kleberson and Fierro, who both played in the World Cup, already in attendance.
