With Adriano integrated into the delegation - the striker arrived in Porto Alegre in the early afternoon -, Flamengo ended its preparation for tomorrow's match against Grêmio, at the Estádio Olímpico, with a recreational training session at the Tricolor Gaúcho training center.
The new problem is not enough to worry coach Adrade, who no longer has Leonardo Moura, Toró, Kleberson and Juan available.
"I'll wait for the doctor's final word, but there's no point in lamenting. The game is tomorrow, and I don't have much time to find a solution. Regardless of the lineup, we're fully capable of playing well and seeking victory," Andrade analyzed.
The fact that both teams are missing several players means the red-and-black coach predicts a match with few scoring opportunities. Therefore, Andrade believes it will be crucial for Flamengo not to waste the chances it does have.
"I think there will be few scoring chances. Games in the South are almost always like that. We have to make few mistakes and take advantage of the opportunities that arise in our favor," he warned.
Defender Ronaldo Angelim also predicts a tight match. He warned that Grêmio won't be an easier opponent due to the absence of players.
"The one who's coming in was a starter last year, so it's not going to be easy for Flamengo. Just as our team has been performing despite its problems, Grêmio also has a quality squad. It's going to be a close game, as it always is here, and the important thing is to be attentive, defend well, and take advantage of the opportunities that arise," he observed.
