Fla holds first training session before the classic
The starting players in the game against Goiás carried out regenerative activities, while the reserves worked on the tactical part.
By From the team at Flamengo's official website - inThis Thursday morning (September 30.09th) was a working day for Flamengo players at the club's Training Center, Ninho do Urubu, in Vargem Grande. The red-and-blacks began their activities focusing on Saturday's (October 02.10nd) derby against Botafogo at Engenhão. The starters from the game against Goiás performed regenerative work, while the reserves worked on tactical aspects.
Before training began, the group gathered in the center of the field and talked for a long time to smooth things over and focus solely on the weekend's match.
"We got together and talked. We know that Flamengo is going through a delicate moment and nobody likes to be in this situation. We overcame the misunderstandings and, for us, what's past is water under the bridge. We knew we could have won the game against Goiás, that's what we needed, but it didn't happen. We'll move on since we have a very difficult opponent on Saturday," said midfielder Renato.
The red-black squad returns to training at Ninho do Urubu this Friday (10/1), at 3 pm and then heads to the concentration.
