Flamengo began its first week of full-time training at Ninho do Urubu, aiming at the physical preparation of its players. This Monday (21.06), Toninho Oliveira, the new coach of the Rubro-Negro and who praised the state of the group in the return, led the activity on the CT lawn, and on Tuesday (22.06), he will do a training session on Recreio beach.

The youth team also participated in a physical activity alongside the seniors. The activity was closely monitored by Zico, the club's executive director, who took the opportunity to speak with members of the U-20 coaching staff. In the afternoon, the team returns to the training center, and coach Rogério Lourenço is expected to conduct technical training with the players.

Flamengo's squad returned to training last Tuesday in Gávea, and throughout the week underwent physiological tests that provided a better understanding of the individual players. The purpose of these assessments is to provide the coaching staff with a baseline for preparations for this week's activities at Ninho, as well as next week, when the group will play the second part of the preseason in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo.
