To end a week of intense preparation for Sunday's match (08.08) against Corinthians at Pacaembu, Flamengo's squad took part in a lively recreational training session this Saturday (07.08) at Gávea. And the Flamengo fans have two good reasons to celebrate: Willians, released for personal reasons from Friday's activity (06.08) and Petkovic, who left the training session with pain after taking a blow to his right ankle, trained normally.

Renato Abreu, who rejoined the former recreational team from his time at Gávea after his first stint, also participated in the activity. Leandro Amaral, accompanied by his triplets Felippo, Valentina, and Lorenzo, participated in his first recreational activity with the rest of the group. After the activity, the players head to Santos Dumont Airport, where they board a flight to São Paulo in the afternoon.

Eighth in the standings with 17 points, Flamengo faces Corinthians, second with 25, this Sunday at 16 p.m. at Pacaembu Stadium. The match is part of the 13th round of the Brasileirão. With a win, Flamengo could return to the top four depending on a combination of other results.
