After a week of intense work at Gávea and Ninho do Urubu, Flamengo arrived in Curitiba in the early hours of this Saturday (August 21.08st), and in the afternoon held its last training session before Sunday's game (August 22.08nd), against Atlético-PR, at Arena da Baixada.
While coach Rogério Lourenço focused his training on finishing during the week, this Saturday he opted to work on set pieces with the Flamengo team. This activity preceded the traditional recreational session held before matches.
With no problem selecting the team, the manager should field a squad of Marcelo Lomba, Leonardo Moura, Jean, Ronaldo Angelim and Juan; Correa, Willians, Renato and Petkovic; Leandro Amaral and Val Baiano.
Newly signed players Deivid and Diogo are expected to be presented next week, and the expectation is that the latter could even play against Atlético-MG on Thursday (August 26.08th) at the Maracanã. Deivid, in turn, plans his debut for the game against Santos on September 5th.
