On Monday (28.06), in the last training session in Rio de Janeiro before the trip to Itu, the Flamengo squad did physical and technical work, under the supervision of physical trainer Toninho Oliveira. The only exception were the goalkeepers, who worked separately with Cantareli.

The group was divided into three teams, which, on one half of the field, performed the traditional two-touch technique. The orange team's objective was to prevent the red team from stealing the ball, and vice versa. The gray team acted as the wild card, exchanging passes with whoever had control. Afterwards, the athletes performed a "circle of bobinho" (a circle of bobinho) and also did a technical drill with three goals on the field.

The only player missing was midfielder Maldonado, who continued his recovery from his knee injury and completed a gym session. New additions included goalkeeper Diego Lima and full-back Jorbison, both promoted from the youth team and who will travel with the squad for the offseason in the interior of São Paulo.
