Silas led tactical activity and players worked on finishing in Gávea

Flamengo held its final training session on this September 7th holiday before traveling to São Paulo, where it faces Tricolor Paulista on Wednesday (September 8th) at Morumbi Stadium. As usual, the activity was recreational and full of good humor, as well as a tactical activity led by coach Silas.

The club's manager also spoke extensively with the players, although he didn't conduct any training that would provide any clues about the team's lineup for the match. Willians and Toró, who didn't work with the group on Monday (September 07.09), returned to training with their teammates and shouldn't pose a problem for the match. Fitness coach Emerson Buck explains that the team will gradually improve its fitness.

"We're stuck with the calendar because of the World Cup. It would be great if we had a full week to work," he said.

In the afternoon, the delegation will depart for São Paulo. This Wednesday, at 22 p.m. (Brasília time), Flamengo will face São Paulo at Morumbi Stadium in the 20th round of the Brasileirão. Flamengo is 14th in the standings with 22 points.
