In the fight for its fourth championship title, Flamengo thrashed Uberlândia 5-0 this Wednesday in Minas Gerais, securing a spot in the next round of the BH Junior Football Cup. The team from Gávea gave their opponent no chance and won with goals from Dieguinho (2), Luis Antônio, João Vitor and Anderson.

With 10 points from four games, Flamengo secured first place in Group E of the competition. Flamengo will play its final match of the first phase on Friday against Americano (MA).

Coach Armênio Moura selected the red-black team with: Marcelo Carné; Lucas, Henrique and Cristiano; Galhardo (Léo), Hugo, João Vitor, Luis Antônio and Anderson (Sabá); Dieguinho and Diego Maurício.
