Fla takes more than 1 million to games in 2007

With 47.301 fans at the Maracanã stadium to watch the Flamengo-Atlético-MG match, the club reached the 1 million fan mark for the year. The survey was conducted by fan Danyel Braga. The calculation was based on attendance at Flamengo's home matches in Rio, Uberlândia, and Juiz de Fora, as well as all derbies.

In 31 games, 1.004.588 fans came to support the team, providing an average of 32.406 people per game.

For comparison, last year, São Paulo, the Brazilian champion and Libertadores finalist, reached the milestone in only their 36th match. By the end of the year, Flamengo will play six games in Rio, including the next one against the São Paulo team on Thursday at Maracanã.
