Fla wants to open the scoring against Corinthians
Rubro-Negros believe that scoring the first goal this Sunday could make the difference

The Flamengo attack hasn't been scoring many goals in the post-World Cup period. They've only scored two in five games. Therefore, Flamengo's players hope to change this trend in this Sunday's match (August 08.08) against Corinthians at Pacaembu Stadium. And preferably, by taking the lead.

"There's no point in scoring goals and losing. It's better to score just one and win 1-0 than to score two and lose 3-2. The key is to win, regardless of how many goals you score," said Fio.
In the current squad, the Flamengo player who has scored the most goals is Petkovic, with two. Juan, Toró, and Diego Maurício each scored once. Players who have since left the club also scored for Flamengo in the Brasileirão. Vagner Love scored four, while Paulo Sérgio, Denis Marques, and Bruno each scored once.
