Flamengo's adult futsal team went to Vassouras on the morning of last Sunday (27/9), and beat the Severino Sombra University team, 4-3, in a beautiful and close game, with a lot of technique from both teams.
Rubro-Negro opened the scoring with a precise goal from Antony. Soon after, Vassouras turned the game around (2-1) and went into halftime with a lead.
In the second half, the Gávea team equalized and turned the game around with goals from Antony and Magrão. With two minutes remaining, the opponent equalized again with a goal from Pezão. The Vassouras team continued to risk goals from the line, but it wasn't enough to stop the red-and-black players.
With approximately 40 seconds left in the game, in a counter-attack move by Magrão, the ball fell to Antony who knew how to take advantage and broke the tie, giving no chance to Vassouras' goal line, thus ending in a deserved victory for the Flamengo team.
After the victory over Vassouras, the Flamengo team continues its training with much more desire and determination to receive and beat Comary, next Thursday (01/10), at Ginásio Hélio Mauricio, in Gávea.
