Flamengo has, this Monday (27.09), another challenge in the State Basketball Championship. Coach Paulo Chupeta's team faces Riachuelo, at 20:30 pm, at the Municipal Club gym, in the second round. In the opening match, last Friday (24.09), the red-black team ran over Iguaçu (142 to 52).
With a star-studded squad, Flamengo is using the competition as preparation for upcoming challenges, such as the South American League and the NBB. On October 1st and 2nd, the team heads to Vila Velha, where they will play two friendlies against CETAF.
Flamengo is seeking its sixth State Championship title. On Wednesday (29.09), the team faces Macaé, at the opponent's home.
