Seeking to foster closer relationships between the players on the field, coach Rogério Lourenço led a training session on a smaller pitch this Friday afternoon. During the practice match, he fielded Vinícius Pacheco in place of Michael, but in the post-match press conference, he preferred not to confirm whether this is the starting lineup for the Flamengo team's game against Corinthians on Wednesday.

The starting lineup consisted of Bruno, Leonardo Moura, David, Ronaldo Angelim, and Juan; Rômulo, Maldonado, Willians, and Vinícius Pacheco; Vagner Love and Adriano. The reserves, without Alvaro and Fabrício (in the medical department), and Kleberson and Fernando (who joined the group after the start of training), were lined up with Marcelo Lomba, Fierro, Welinton, Rodrigo Alvim, and Everton Silva; Toró, Ramón, Michael, and Petkovic; Denis Marques and Bruno Mezenga.

"Michael is a more technical player, while Vinícius is faster and more important in counter-attacks. There is a chance that this will be the lineup, because Vinícius came on well, moved around a lot, but I prefer to wait a little longer. We still have some training sessions ahead and we'll see what will be best for the team," explained Rogério Lourenço, who also revealed the reasons for doing a training session with a reduced field.

"In today's football, you have to play fast, pass the ball quickly, and be very direct in attack. In defense, you have to be very tenacious and mark strongly. Training on a field like this makes it easier for the player to position themselves, group together, and make the team more compact," he added.
