Fla trains crossings and finishing at Ninho

Rogério Lourenço leads technical activity in training this Tuesday at CT

Flamengo coach Rogério Lourenço led a technical activity this Tuesday (17.08) at Ninho do Urubu, the club's training center, in Vargem Grande. The focus of the work, carried out on one half of the pitch, was crosses and shots.

The full-backs and midfielders took turns passing the ball, while the forwards and defenders ran into the box to shoot or head the ball. The Gávea team scored four goals in the seven games they played after the World Cup, and the red-and-blacks know they need to improve this average, so they valued this type of work.

"We have to create more scoring chances, and that will come with hard work and teamwork. I'm sure we'll start scoring more goals as the team gels," said Leandro Amaral.

This Wednesday (18.08), Rubro-Negro trains full time with an eye on next Sunday's match (22.08), against Atlético-PR. In the morning, at 9 am, the team works at the CT, and in the afternoon, at 15:30 pm, they do physical activity at Praia da Barra da Tijuca.
