After drawing 2-2 with Botafogo yesterday in the first game of the Campeonato Carioca final, Flamengo's squad returned this afternoon in Gávea, with their minds on Wednesday's clash against Fortaleza in the round of XNUMX of the Copa do Brasil.

The players who started yesterday's derby only did strength training at the club's gym. The only exception was defender Ronaldo Angelim, who participated in a technical activity on the field. Under the guidance of assistant coach Andrade, the players were divided into two teams, which faced each other on a reduced-size field.

Midfielder Airton, who missed the first match of the state championship final, has significantly improved from the pain in his right ankle and has a good chance of being part of the red-and-black team heading to Volta Redonda. The player has been undergoing specific training with the club's fitness trainers.
