On Wednesday (23.06), the third day of Flamengo's preseason at Ninho do Urubu, the Rubro-Negro carried out another technical session under the command of coach Rogério Lourenço and coaches Toninho Oliveira and Diogo Linhares. The activity aimed to train plays on the wings and the completion of aerial plays.
The squad was divided into four groups by position: defenders, full-backs, midfielders, and forwards. The ball would leave the defensive half, with the defenders passing to the full-backs. The full-backs would exchange passes with the midfielders, reach the byline, and cross to the forwards, who would aim to score. The midfielders also practiced finishing from the edge of the box.
After about an hour of activity, the players participated in a lively recreational training session, which even coach Rogério Lourenço joined in. Emperor Adriano, signed by Roma, did gym sessions and then ran around the pitch with midfielder Toró. Midfielder Airton, currently with Benfica, enjoyed his vacation in Brazil and visited his former teammates.
