After the 0-0 draw with Internacional last night at Maracanã, the Flamengo squad returned this afternoon at Gávea, with their minds on the next Brazilian Championship challenge, Saturday, against Avaí, in Rio de Janeiro.

The players who started yesterday's match did some light training in the gym and on the field. The rest of the squad participated in a training session led by Cuca. The red-and-black coach may rest some starters for Saturday's match, as the red-and-black team faces another decisive match next Wednesday, again against Inter, in the second leg of the Copa do Brasil. In this case, players such as Alex Cruz, Maxi, Fierro, and Paulo Sérgio could be included in the squad.

In the early evening, Adriano arrived in Gávea to continue the series of scheduled exams before starting training with the rest of the group.
