Fla trains without some starters, but Rogério doesn't confirm the team
Coach says that, if possible, he wants to have full strength in the debut against São Paulo

Questions about whether or not to rest part of Flamengo's starting lineup for Sunday's match against São Paulo, the opening match of the 2010 Brasileirão, began to be answered on Friday afternoon at Ninho do Urubu. Coach Rogério Lourenço led a tactical training session on a reduced-size field and left out four players: Leo Moura, Maldonado, Wilians, and Vagner Love. They are expected to play only on Wednesday against Universidad de Chile in the quarterfinals of the Copa Libertadores.
The training session lasted approximately an hour, with two teams of eight players facing off. The starting players, who played without the central defensive duo of Ronaldo Angelim and David, as is typical for this type of training, were fielded with two full-backs (Everton Silva and Juan), five midfielders (Rômulo, Toró, Kleberson, Fierro, and Petkovic), and just one striker (Adriano). The rested players trained in the training center's gym.
At the end of the activity, however, Rogério did not confirm that the players will be out of Sunday's match and the list for the match will only be released after training this Saturday, at 15:30 pm, also at Ninho do Urubu.
"We spoke with the coaching staff, the trainers and the medical department, and now we will re-evaluate them tomorrow to see if they are fit to play or not," said the coach.
