Fla will train at Ninho do Urubu in the coming days

Technical committee transfers activities from Gávea to Vargem Grande CT this week

Flamengo's training sessions for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week (August 11.08-13.08), which were scheduled for Gávea, have been moved to the club's training center, Ninho do Urubu. The coaching staff opted to hold the activities in Vargem Grande. However, the time remains the same: 15 p.m.

According to coach Rogério Lourenço, the option is not related to the fact that the team is experiencing negative results in the Brazilian Championship, but rather to the need to have a place like Ninho, which is undergoing renovations and already has an increasingly better structure for the players to work on a daily basis.

"It's obvious that the training center gives you more privacy. The training center is essential and necessary for working. There are times when this needs to happen. The athletes need it, and it's part of it. It's not a matter of strategic change. It was a coincidence," he said.

This will be the first time that some Flamengo newcomers will train at Ninho. These include Val Baiano, Cristian Borja, and Leandro Amaral. Renato Abreu, who trained there during his first stint with the club, will also return to the training center for the first time since agreeing to return to Flamengo.
