Fla beat Figueirense 3-2

By Flamengo Archive - inWith a strong performance, Flamengo defeated Figueirense 3-2 this Wednesday night at Orlando Scarpelli Stadium in Florianópolis. With the victory, the red-and-black team reached 40 points and jumped to fifth place in the Brazilian Championship. Ronaldo Angelim, Marcelinho Paraíba, and Léo Moura scored the winning goals.
On the field, Flamengo's first half was impeccable. Playing engaging football with good ball control, Caio Júnior's team gave the Santa Catarina team no chance. Flamengo's first good chance came in the 12th minute, with Everton being blocked before shooting on goal. Figueirense responded soon after, with Cleiton Xavier taking a shot from outside the box.
