Playing at the Los Larios stadium in Xerém, the Gávea youth team beat their rivals 2-0, with goals from Camacho and Borja, in the debut of the Brazilian Under-23 Championship. \The victory puts Flamengo at three points and level with Atlético Mineiro, who also defeated Avai on Sunday, in first place in Group B. Flamengo's next match will be against Palmeiras next Saturday. Tricolor das Laranjeiras hosts Atlético Mineiro on Thursday.
