There's a new defender at Mengão! This Tuesday (8), Flamengo announced the signing of defender Fabrício Bruno, who was at RB Bragantino. The 25-year-old player signed a contract with the Gávea club until December 2025. Fabrício is the Mais Querido's second reinforcement for the season.

The 1,92 m defender was discovered by Cruzeiro and also played for Chapecoense for two seasons before transferring to Bragantino in 2020. For the Bragança Paulista club, Fabrício Bruno was runner-up in last year's Copa Sudamericana, being one of the team's captains.

Now, Mais Querido has the following defenders in the squad: David Luiz, Rodrigo Caio, Gustavo Henrique, Léo Pereira and Fabrício Bruno, in addition to the youngsters Cleiton and Gabriel Noga.
