New wall in the area! Flamengo announced this Saturday morning (1) the signing of goalkeeper Agustín Rossi, 27 years old. The Argentine signed a contract until December 2027 with the Rubro-Negro and has already visited the facilities at CT George Helal. He arrives for the disputes of the Brazilian Championship, Copa do Brasil and Libertadores.

Rossi came through the youth ranks of Chacarita Juniors in Argentina and played for Estudiantes and Defensa y Justicia before moving to Boca Juniors in 2017. Two years later, the goalkeeper was loaned to Antofagasta in Chile and Lanús, also in Argentina. He returned to Boca Juniors in 2020, where he managed to establish himself as a regular starter.

In 2022, he was named Argentina's best player and won the national title for the third time. In early 2023, he opted not to renew his contract with the Bombonera club and ended up being loaned to Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia before joining the Mais Querido.
