Flamengo has a new striker! Carlinhos, who played in the Campeonato Carioca for Nova Iguaçu, signed a contract with Mengão until December 27 and will be available for the Brasileirão and Libertadores.

Discovered by Corinthians, Carlinhos caught the attention on the national scene by winning the 2017 São Paulo Junior Football Cup. The striker also had spells at some lesser-known clubs.

Last year, his performance for Audax-RJ led Nova Iguaçu to sign him to play in the 2024 Campeonato Carioca. With eight goals, Carlinhos is the second top scorer in the State Championship, behind only Pedro, with 11.
