Flamengo announced late Monday afternoon the signing of defender Leonardo, formerly of Goiás and Palmeiras. The new addition fills the void in defense, as defender Rodrigo has no return date. Leonardo is 30 years old and has already played in two Copa Libertadores da América tournaments. The player will be presented on Thursday at 18 pm in Gávea.
