The first reinforcement for the 2026 season has arrived! It's defender Vitão, formerly of Internacional. The 25-year-old defender has signed a contract with Flamengo until December 2029 and arrives to further strengthen the squad that won the Copa Libertadores and the Brazilian championship. The player will join his teammates in January for pre-season training. 

Born in Jacarezinho, Paraná, Vitão began his football career in Palmeiras' youth ranks in 2015, making his professional debut four years later. In 2019, he was sold to Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine, where he played for two seasons. Returning to Brazilian football, the defender signed with Internacional in 2022, where he remained until being signed by Flamengo.
