Flamengo announces the return of striker Michael
Player arrives for his second stint at the club after signing a contract until December 2028

The little robot is back at Mengão! Flamengo announced this Thursday (22) the return of striker Michael, after the player agreed to terminate his contract with Al-Hilal. The 28-year-old athlete signed a contract with Mais Querido until December 31, 2028, and arrives to reinforce the red-black squad in the Copa do Brasil, Libertadores and Brasileirão.
During his time with the Saudi team, Michael played in 110 matches, scoring 22 goals and providing 22 assists, as well as winning six titles under the command of former red-black coach Jorge Jesus.
With the Sacred Mantle, between 2020 and 2021, the striker played 105 matches, scoring 23 goals and contributing 14 assists. He won two Brazilian Super Cups (2020 and 2021), one Brazilian Championship (2020), one South American Recopa (2020), and two Carioca Championships (2020 and 2021). In 2019, he was named the Brazilian Championship's revelation player, sparking the interest of the Rio de Janeiro club.
