With a record attendance in the Championship, Flamengo beat Grêmio 2-0, early in the evening of this Sunday (21/10). With the victory, the red-black jumped to sixth place in the table, dreaming more and more of a place in the 2008 Libertadores.

With the ball rolling, Flamengo took the initiative but couldn't find a way to threaten the opposing goal. The first chance fell to Grêmio, with Diego Souza's shot from outside the box in the 15th minute. The shot was weak, and Bruno easily grabbed it. Flamengo's response came ten minutes later.
