Flamengo beat Internacional 3-1 at Maracanã
Gabigol, De Arrascaeta and Bruno Henrique scored the goals in Mengão's eighth consecutive victory in the Brasileirão

With goals from top scorer Gabigol, De Arrascaeta and Bruno Henrique, Mais Querido achieved their eighth consecutive victory in the competition, extending their record.
The game
Flamengo started dominating the game and opened the scoring in the 19th minute of the first half. Gabigol received the ball and advanced unmarked into the box. Inter's full-back Bruno pushed the striker. The referee awarded the penalty and sent off the Colorado player. The Flamengo number 9 stepped up to take the penalty and fired a powerful shot into Lomba's left corner: 1-0 for Mengão. As the game progressed, the Flamengo team continued to dominate possession and had several opportunities to extend their lead. Late in the first half, Inter also had Guerrero sent off, leaving the team from Rio Grande do Sul with two men.
Right at the start of the second half, in the fourth minute, Edenilson equalized for Internacional: 1-1. It didn't take long for Mengão to take the lead again. In the 10th minute, Rafinha delivered a perfect cross, Arrascaeta rose between the defenders and headed the ball into the back of the net: 2-1 Fla. In the 29th minute, another goal for the Mais Querido. Rafinha crossed again to Arrascaeta, who laid it off for Bruno Henrique to tap into the net. And that was it: 3-1 for the Rubro-Negro and a celebration for the nation at the Maracanã.
