Flamengo beat the Piedade team last Friday (21/9), gaining even more confidence for the next matches of the 2007 Rio de Janeiro Futsal Championship.

With four goals, scored by Michel (2) and Sixel (2), the red-black team washed their souls after the 3-2 defeat to the Cabo Frio team, in a match valid for the third round of the competition.

Flamengo's next challenge, under the guidance of Cid Escalarte, will be against Drogarias do Povo, a team from Cabo Frio. The match will be on September 28th (Friday) at the Vila Olímpica in Duque de Caxias, starting at 9 p.m.
