Flamengo hasn't lost in almost a month and has achieved its best winning streak of 2026.

Flamengo reached, last Wednesday (29), the mark of eight consecutive matches without defeats in the season. This is the club's best sequence this year and equals the performance at the end of last season.

In this period, Flamengo spent very little time behind on the scoreboard. It was only 16 minutes behind, precisely in the first game of the series, against Santos, at the beginning of April, at the Maracanã.

Since Pedro's equalizing goal in the 64th minute of that match, the scenario changed completely: the team never fell behind again. Throughout those eight games, they were ahead for almost 500 minutes and tied for 291 minutes.

The unbeaten streak began with this comeback victory over Santos and gained momentum with important results, such as against Cusco at altitude and in the derby against Fluminense. During this period, the team also achieved a resounding victory in the Libertadores Cup, comfortably defeated Bahia, gained an advantage in the Copa do Brasil against Vitória, and delivered a dominant performance against Atlético-MG away from home.

The only draw in the sequence came in the most recent match, against Estudiantes de La Plata in Argentina, a result that kept Flamengo in the lead of Group A of the Libertadores. Before that, the team had seven consecutive victories, something that hadn't happened since March 2024.

In 24 days, Flamengo scored 20 goals and conceded only 5, meaning an average of 2,5 goals per game and less than one goal conceded per match.
