On the day he completes his 1,000th game in the Brazilian Championship, the red-black team seems more willing than ever to put an end to the taboo of never having beaten Santos at Vila Belmiro.

The delegation arrived in Santos early in the evening with the team defined by coach Andrade and with the certainty that it will not be for lack of will that a positive result will not be achieved.

"It's a taboo that bothers us and the fans. Playing at Vila Belmiro is always difficult, regardless of Santos' current form. We had a conversation today before training and know the importance of this game, especially given the recovery we're seeking in the Brazilian Championship. We respect our opponents a lot, but we need to win away from home, and we'll fight hard for it," analyzed the red-and-black number 2.

In addition to the taboo at Vila Belmiro, Leonardo Moura believes that the team needs to give a positive response to Andrade, who will be in charge of the team tomorrow on an interim basis.

"I had the pleasure of following Andrade as a fan and have worked with him on other occasions. He's a good person. His responsibility is greater today, but the trust we placed in him is because he's capable of helping us."
